Your function
Job activities
– Perform month end closing process and activities
– Bring the daily General Ledger and accounting activities to a higher level to prepare the company for the financial audit
– Prepare and monitor the preparation of account reconciliations
– Prepare financial statements and a joint venture
– Prepare for the annual year-end financial audit of the consolidation package and statutory financial statements.
– Prepare/review VAT-declarations
– Implementation of the Risk Control Framework
Your profile
Requirements
– Minimal requirement is a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration or (financial) Auditing.
– Minimum of 10 years working experience in the finance domain (accounting, auditing, controlling)
– Audit experience is a strong pre
– Knowledge of Fiscal rules (VAT, Corporate Income Tax) within Belgium
– Knowledge of IFRS and Belgian GAAP
– Good excel skills
– Experience with and affinity with data and IT
– Good communication skills
– Enthusiastic, pro-active, flexible and accurate.
– Good analytical skills; able to come up with simple solutions for complex issues
