Interim Sr. Accounting Specialist / Financial Controller | Den Haag

We are looking for a Senior Accounting Specialist / Financial Controller. The intakes will take place next week so make sure that your available next week. 

Impact as a Senior Accounting Specialist
• Guiding the more junior and medior colleagues in the team. 
• Coordinating activities and the reporting process for colleagues.
• At the same time, developing new (standard) reports and identifying opportunities for further improvement. 
• Submitting proposals for implementing improvements and innovative solutions in a clearly defined scope and context. 
• Testing our limits and stretch them a little (but not too much, of course) to achieve optimizations of all financial processes.

Testing analyses to be delivered with a certain amount of creativity and courage
Working together to:
• Realise accurate month-end closings, import and control transactions in the ledgers and handling all aspects of the administrative process
• Consult management regarding compliance aspects of financial reporting and discuss issues in these matters with internal and external stakeholders
• Create a robust balance sheet dossier, with clear descriptions of all items, supporting documentation and including for example debtors and creditors maturity analysis

We are looking for:
• A master’s degree Accounting/Audit
• RA degree
• >7 years of experience in accounting and IFRS & DGAAP standards
